Not only does the game come out at that time, but so does the movie...it's like some sort of mega-movie-tie-in deal. Where have I seen this before?

The folks over at Ubisoft must feel like they have been teasing us long enough. They’ve finally released another video of their upcoming Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands to satiate our appetites for new media. Lucky for us, there’s only a few months left before the latest version of the Prince of Persia franchise is in our grubby hands.

What you’re staring at (since I know most of you don’t know moonspeak) is the opening animation for Mugen no Frontier EXCEED Super Robot Taisen OG Saga, the latest in the Banpresto genre spanning game series and the sequel to the other DS game with an equally long name.

I don’t really buy games anymore, ever.  Thankfully, there are two days a year where people feel they are compelled to purchase things for me.  Recently, I had a birthday and on the day before, I wrote out a list of things I wanted since apparently everyone was shopping late for me.  Scribblenauts was on the list because I like to think I have a thing for words and well, it seemed up my alley.  Can you really write out whatever word you think that may help you solve a puzzle and have what you wrote appear on the screen to help your avatar?

Xopher Reed Transformers: War for Cybertron – Trailer

More of this, less of Shia...I swear if I have to hear him do his 'nonononononononono' thing one more time, I'll scream.

The Michael Bay Transformers movies may not be the best movies ever made, I mean, the dialogue is atrocious, but there was one thing that he does really well…and that’s blow shit up. Transformers: War for Cybertron is going to be taking place in the ‘Bay-iverse’, taking place before the events of the first movie when the Autobots came to Earth. It’s got giant robots fighting each other…what else do you need?

Well I’ve talked about it before, but it looks like they’ve finally been released into the wild of the Apple App Store. Yes, you too can play Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II on your iPhones and iPod touches for the low low price of $8.99…wait, that’s not low at all! Eh, they still look like they’re worth getting, they sure do look purdy!

Xopher Reed iPhone Street Fighter IV is a Bad Idea

Go ahead and keep dreaming that it's going to look anything like this on the iPhone.

Capcom, hoping to make a cashgrab this March, will be releasing the fighter on the iPhone…and subsequently pissing off the iPhone gaming community by not having decent controls.

Xopher Reed Oh Snap, Final Fantasy I & II on iPhone?

This made my day, and is the first time I’ve heard of these being ported to the iPhone. To me, the iPhone is officially in competition as King of handhelds now. I hope beyond hope that they bring out FFVI for the iPhone. I’d pay upwards of $20 for that.

Xopher Reed Oh Kojima, You Teasing Bastard

Unfortunately, the big boss quartet will not be performing their smash hit "Metal Gear?!?" tonight.

We already know that Hideo-kun is the master of hype. He had gamers like me frothing at the mouth to play MGS4 for so long that I thought I’d go crazy. I can’t give full credit to Kojima-san on this one. The hype this time goes to the PR manager for Kojima Productions, Jiro Oish.

Xopher Reed Whorin The Games – February 3rd Edition

OH MAN, A NEW ARMORED CORE ON THE PSP!

This week, there’s not really much of anything that I see as an absolute “must-have” for any one of my gaming systems…though I am leaning towards picking up one game in particular…but you’ll have click that little button right there to see what that might be.

Is it just me, or does he look like he's groping the machine?President of Nintendo (Satoru Iwata) in an interview with the New York Times recently commented on Apple’s newest creation, the iPad. Coming from the game company to be the first to really stabilize and sensationalize the handheld market, this could be bad.

Xopher Reed Whorin The Games – January 26th Edition

yup, DS games are synonymous with quality, case in point DOGZ

Another week, another massive list of shovelware for the WII and DS. This week though, we’ve got a few gems that some of us MediaWhore types are lookin forward to. I’ll give you a hint…one sounds like Fast Trebek Blue.

Well, really what more can I say about these games…there’s just nothing but ass & titties in this game. That and ice cream stealing. I don’t get it really, aren’t Redtube and Pornhub are so easily accessed via the PSP web browser? Worst thing is…will we ever get a brand new Dead or Alive that isn’t Xtreme, Volleyball, or Paradise?

I’m all for lookin at scantily clad ladies, but in this game’s universe, I’d prefer to see them beating up on each other…with their breasts all jigglin and stuff. Ok my rant’s over, feel free to put your hands wherever deem appropriate.

I have bigger moobs than this guy, so I shouldn't talk really. But, c'mon, it's funny!

Ok, the Apple Tablet, something that a few of us here at MediaWhore are excited about, will be revealed later this month and according to Wall Street Journal (yes, we read smartypants papers) EA will be right there for the unveiling.

Xopher Reed Mushihime-sama to iPhone?

I can’t believe that Cave is going to be porting this game (and many others it appears) to the iPhone. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for this game to his the App Store, but at the same time I know that it’s not going to be exactly like its namesake.

Xopher Reed Plants vs Zombies on the iPhone…finally!

Not being a PC gamer that much anymore, I’ve never had a chance to play many of PopCap’s great games on the medium they’re normally released for…thankfully they’re good enough to make ports of most of them for the iPhone. Hell, if it weren’t for this fact, I’d never have played Peggle or BookWorm. Now, it seems that I’ll be getting another excellent game on my iPhone soon.
